Pure Pune Magic!

 It was just a few days ago, that I was watching Bajirao Mastani, the great Indian love saga about the Peshwa Bajirao and Mastani. I have this habit, that whenever I watch a movie and if it has some historical connection to it, I start reading about it more on the internet. After watching the movie, I had the urge to know more about the Peshwas of Maratha. I found a lot of things to read and enlighten myself. But suddenly I thought, reading wasn’t enough this time. I actually wanted to visit Pune.

In a few days, I was in Pune. I booked my accommodation at The Pride hotel. The hotel turned out to be a great one. After I got into my room, I don’t remember for how long I admired it. I have a few friends in Pune who too praised a lot about this hotel. The other interesting thing that I got to know that this hotel has one of the best bars in Pune. I planned on to explore it to but after I had explored the city.

The next day I was onto the project, “Explore Pune”. I was in love with the Shanivaar Wada Palace. In my head, I imagined the tales of Bajirao Mastani. I had also heard that now Shanivaar Wada Palace is one of the haunted places of India. I didn’t wait there till the evening. Later I came back to my place, which was apparently one of the best luxury hotels in Pune, and finally hit the bar.
